We had our family pictures taken yesterday for the first time. It was altogether a pretty good experience.
We actually got the whole family dressed and out the door with time to spare. Luckily, we got lost inside of the mall so that we showed up right on time. G-d forbid be get somewhere early. The girls both slept in the car on the way there so I had to carry Yaeli inside of the mall while she woke up.
The session itself was very well done. The photographer, Beth, was super nice and Yaeli got took to her very quickly. She mostly stayed in poses and took directions really well. Sophie slept through the whole photo shoot and the only problem we had with her was getting her hands off of her face.
Then, when we were viewing the pictures on the computer to decide which ones we wanted, Yaeli had a total meltdown. Luckily, there was a play area for kids and we only had to deal with this meltdown for a short amount of time.
We had to wait about 30 minutes for our selections to be printed and then we were out the door. We ended up paying an extra $100 for a really nicely framed set of 3 pictures and the CD with all our pics on it. Totally worth the price this time but in the future I think we'll stick to buying one or two poses.
Anyway, here's a link to the pictures. Enjoy!
